The Cave of Santo Hermano Pedro, tucked away just off the airport, is easy to miss. It is dedicated to Saint Peter by Joseph Betancur, who also lived here. In the cave stands a wooden figure of the saint, where believers offer small slips of paper with wishes and offerings.
Since this is a holy place, almost everything is forbidden and the bike has to wait at the entrance. A visit to the Arial is well worth it. According to the holy place one should be "properly" dressed.
