The water is said to be rich in fish. All important Central European fish species such as grayling, brown trout, brook trout, barbel, chub, gudgeon, hazel and rainbow trout occur and are therefore mainly of interest to fly fishermen. Guest anglers can purchase fishing permits for this body of water.
The fishing waters are managed by Angelsportverein Sexau e.V.
