In the Regenboogpark there are three artistic columns. The columns are covered with almost 1200 ceramic tiles with fine black and white drawings, designed by students of the municipal art academy. The concept of these art columns with the many fine black and white drawings on the ceramic tiles was completely conceived and executed by the image department under the leadership of Jos Barbe.
The columns were unveiled in 1996 in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the Visual Arts department.
