Pilgrimage chapel in honour of Our Lady, the foundation of which is said to date back to the 15th century, according to legend by a French nobleman Jan Damas in gratitude for the healing of his wife. The oldest accounts date from 1504. After being damaged by the Geuzen, it was rebuilt in 1614.

In 790, during the French Revolution, the chapel was again severely destroyed.

A new neo-Gothic chapel was built in 1871. In 1947 it had to be restored and in 1960 it was enlarged.

A much-visited place of pilgrimage until the 20th century, with fifteen rosary chapels around the Kapellekouter.
