Reinharz Moated Castle, nestled in forests, resembles a legendary fairytale castle. The castle park and surrounding water features, with their rare trees, invite you to linger.

Heinrich von Löser, Electoral Marshal of Saxony, had this impressive moated castle built between 1690 and 1701, featuring a baroque park, a castle pond, and a brewery pond, to provide appropriate accommodation for the nobility during their hunts in the Düben Heath.

      Wiki says:

Built between 1690 and 1701 by the Saxon heritage marshal Heinrich Löser.
The castle was used in the GDR as a recovery home "friendship".
The facility was privatized in 1998. The former nursery was converted into hotel apartments, and the Café Graf Löser was also opened. Part of the farm buildings and the palace area was taken over and renovated in 1999 for use for non-profit artistic and cultural purposes. Two exhibition halls, artist studios, specialist library for fine arts, a sculpture park and documentation center with editorial staff have been created.

When I drove past it still looked like a construction site.

Unfortunately it's not in good condition, but it's still worth seeing.
