    Twyn y Gaer is a mountain summit in the Mynydd Illtyd area of the Brecon Beacons in Powys, Wales. Twyn y Gaer is 367 metres high with a prominence of 50 metres. It is an Iron Age Hill Fort and is identified by a trig point. This is a beautiful walk on a high mountain plateau with commanding views of the Brecon Beacons.
