Okay, the Dobratsch is a mountain visible from afar, stretching some east-west, with a steep south face. You can climb it, drive on the Villach Alpine Road or even circle it. Perhaps a bit misleading that the highlight "Dobratsch" appears here at exactly one point. But the mountain is always worthwhile.

Road cycling

The road on the descent into the Gailtal is in poor condition in places. With the racing bike you are constantly looking for places that appear to be ridable. In parts, the road consists only of patched areas. You get down somehow, you're happy when all the parts are still on the bike, but the descent isn't fun, at least in the upper part.
All in all, I've never seen so many bad roads as in the area around Villach (holidays), but the descent from Bad Bleiberg competes with the descent from the Wurzenpass for the golden pothole.
