The Santa Cruz Museum is one of the most important cultural spaces in Toledo and throughout Castilla-La Mancha. It is located in the former Hospital of Santa Cruz, a 16th-century Renaissance building founded by Cardinal Pedro González de Mendoza to house orphaned children.

The museum is housed in a former hospital, which boasts a beautiful courtyard and architecture reminiscent of Moorish times. The collection includes two rooms of El Greco paintings; I counted 14. On the upper floor, there's a collection of earthenware.
