Down here on the south-western shore of Lake Starnberg, one escapes the greatest mass of tourists and excursionists who otherwise besiege the lake on all the banks - which does not mean that one could find solitude here. From the beer garden you have a magnificent view of the lake and the nature reserve. The dishes as well as the cakes are well done, the restaurant is known for fresh fish from Lake Starnberg. The prices are typical for Munich high, but not unfairly overpriced.
