The village of Dülseberg is a district of the town of Diesdorf and was first mentioned in 1242 as the village of Dullesberge in a document from the Diocese of Verden. The Diesdorf monastery had income there. Other mentions are 1322 Dulseberge, 1458 Dulsberge, 1551 Dolßberge, 1585 village of Dulßberge, 1687 Dülszberge and 1804 Dülseberg, a village with an innkeeper, a carpenter and a water mill. South of Dülseberg flows the Salzwedeler Dumme, a tributary of the Jeetze. East of the village on the Dumme was the Dülseberger mill, a water mill, the first mention is unknown. In 1584 a miller was mentioned in the village.

The village has the shape of a dead-end village on the original survey map 1678 Abbendorf from 1823. According to a local historian for the Altmark, the originally round village layout was preserved until 1852 and was then redesigned into a curved street village. A very interesting place with a long history and some buildings worth seeing.
