Snowshoeing
The Schottinger or “Little Schütz” is 2,079 m high and lies on the ridge with panoramic views between Gamshag (2,178 m) and the Schützkogel (2,069 m). Funny that it is also called “Little Schütz” even though it is 10 m higher than the “Schützkogel = Großer Schütz”. The view of the snow-covered 3,000-meter peaks of the Hohe Tauern, the Großvenediger in the middle and the imposing Gaisstein all the way to the Glemmtal is very worthwhile.
