Hiking

The siphon drains the bosom water from the west side of Aarlanderveen. You can't see it, but there is a culvert under De Grote Wetering. That Grote Wetering, also called Molenwetering, is the water drainage of a completely different polder (the Zuid- and Noordeindepolder). This meant that the owners of the Molenviergang did not have to cooperate in the water drainage of the Zuid- and Noordeindepolder.
