On the southern side of the Ludwigsbrücke, the cycle path turns into the Isartalbahn cycle path. This is the former Isartalbahn, which once ran from Thalkirchen via Wolfratshausen and Beuerberg to Bichl and crossed the current Maximiliansbahn to Holzkirchen near Grosshesselohe. This cycle path takes you completely away from the busy suburbs of Solln and Obersendling through park-like landscapes to the Flaucherbrücke in Thalkirchen. The further route to Harras station leads along well-developed and signposted cycle paths along the main roads. Munich has many beautiful paths for cyclists. The cycle path can be continued to Marienplatz through the natural floodplains of the Isar.
