Hiking
The large bronze sculpture was erected in the Olympic Park in Munich in 1973.[1] Olympia Triumphans depicts a powerful and strong female athlete balancing a globe with her hands. Her legs are spread wide and pointing towards the sky.
The work is 5.10 m high, of which 1.25 m is the base. The bronze casting was done by the Werner Braun foundry, and the concrete base was made by Heilmann & Littmann.
The Latin inscription in capital letters on the globe reads:
