Plaza del Campillo is a large urban space located in the center of Granada, near the iconic Puerta Real. This square is known for its lively atmosphere and commercial activity, with numerous bars, restaurants, and shops surrounding it.

One of the square's most notable features is the Fuente de las Batallas, a circular Baroque fountain that adorns the largest part of the square.

On March 9, 1936, some Falangists shot at a group of workers gathered in this square. Thirteen people from Granada were wounded.
