Mountain biking

The Barbarine is the best known freestanding rock in the German part of the Elbsandsteingebirge. The 42.7 m high pinnacle is considered a landmark of Saxon Switzerland. It was climbed on 19 September 1905 for the first time by mountaineers and was declared a natural monument on December 13, 1978, after the rock had been blocked for climbing for three years before.
