Former refuge house of the Knights of St. John or Knights of Malta, originating from Walsbergen near Wommersom and a fairly well-preserved example of a spacious, classicist bourgeois house in the form of a brick double house of two floors and seven bays on a quartzite plinth, openwork with large windows in a wide, rectangular bluestone frame and an equally rectangular entrance door crowned with an oval round oculus, inscribed in a square frame, flanked by volutes and crowned with a profiled water list above which a coat of arms and the year 1784.
