Huhang Highway is a great 10+km connection from Fengxian to Jinshan, taking you around the chemical industry park and mostly hiding it behind a line of trees along the road. Yet I am still very divided about the road.

I like that it is a relatively small road and the trees in summer form a tunnel you are riding through, but that is also its biggest downside: the lack of a bike lane. The car traffic is sometimes passing real close and there here are some, but not too many trucks on the road too. In summer I could also imagine that there is significantly more vehicle traffic, with tourists going from/to Fengxian and Jinshan.

If you feel uncomfortable with a lack of a bike line, you will have to go onto Puwei Highway: very wide, multiple lanes, and separate bike lanes.
