    Road cycling

This bridge is limited to scooters, bikes, and pedestrians, and makes for a much more relaxed crossing of the Huangpu River. The entrances on either side of river can be easily missed so look out.

    Road cycling

The Songpu Bridge has two layers. The upper is for motorized vehicle traffic. The lower layer is for bikes and pedestrians only. The lower level used to be a single railway line, but was converted to a bike lane as there is now a separate rail bridge right next to this bridge.

The upper layer has a bike/scooter lane that you default too when staying on the main road. But it is worth paying attention to the turn out and then using the bike lane. Much more relaxed :-)
