Mostly good but extremely rough asphalt. Very nice climb towards the northwest (sometimes quite steep).
Toujane (according to maps, Toujene according to the town sign) is a beautiful Berber tourist town where a major battle took place in World War II. There was nothing going on here during the week in winter, but on a nice Sunday in winter there was quite a lot going on.
