    The Casa del Suono, which is located in the evocative space of the former church of Santa Elisabetta (mid-17th century), was born with the ambition of reflecting on our way of listening to and understanding music, and is dedicated to a very wide audience: that is, to all those who today listen to music and sounds transmitted by technological instruments. The path that the Casa del Suono proposes is that of the history and evolution of these instruments to reach the current situation (from the phonograph to the gramophone, from the radio to the tape recorder, from the compact disc to the iPod) and to cast a glance towards the future. Inside it houses a precious collection of phono-producers, as well as structures equipped with innovative sound reproduction systems and services dedicated to scientific and artistic research, teaching and dissemination.
