Stroopplein Station Pavilion Borgloon

The former station of Borgloon played a hugely important role in the fruit and syrup history and for the city itself. The former station square was renovated in September 2024 and renamed Stroopplein. The eye-catcher is this pavilion located opposite the steam syrup factory in the form of a station with rest facilities and information boards about the past of the station. Quite nicely done and better than what it was in any case. A kind of railway lines have also been laid (that's what they look like) to give the whole thing even more cachet. It is hoped that in the future they will also be able to place wagons. The sets that are a bit further away are unfortunately worn out and there is no money - for the time being? - to restore them.
