Alter Schienenbus

In the 40s / 50s of the last century, Wipperfürth was a transit camp for displaced people - this rail bus reminds of this. Models of this type ran on the Wipperfürth - Lennep route in scheduled train services until the 1980s. The rail bus purchased from Deutsche Privatbahn GmbH is now on the old railway site on the Bergische Panorama-Radweg.

Recently, a second car is there.

That's where childhood memories come from. Who does not know the old railbus? At that time, train driving was that easy. And so much cheaper. Would not that be an alternative today to keep the cost increase in public transport under control?
