The memorial stone was unveiled on May 18, 1996, on the 70th birthday of Thuringian composer Herbert Roth. His most famous song is the Rennsteig Song, which is considered the unofficial anthem of Thuringia.

Well-known composer. Who doesn't know the "Rennsteig song".

Hiking
A nice big resting place, the bristle place. Is located directly on the Rennsteig (and unfortunately also on the road) direction Schmücke.
