The mill was built in 1857. The first miller was J. Bodenstaff until 1894. Later the mill was bought by Jac. Jochijms from Beuningen. In 1920 the heavy Harley engine was installed in the mill. In 1924 and 1947 the cap and sails of the mill were destroyed by a heavy storm. In 1976 it was restored.
