Artwork for the new town hall of Herent..
Outside the building stands a giant sculpture, designed by Wouter Mulier from Leuven.. This sculpture “Fusion” shows arches that fan out from a center.. In the middle they are enclosed by an open, spiral-shaped band.. ‘All the different services, such as the OCMW, the Bib, the police and the municipal services come together in this building.. I wanted to symbolize that with my artwork’, says Wouter, ‘In addition, the sculpture naturally also has a strong signaling function for people who pass the building..
