Lenzen Castle, the visitor center in the heart of the Elbe-Brandenburg River Landscape Biosphere Reserve, rises picturesquely above the Elbe Valley in Brandenburg. A Slavic castle complex with a 24-meter-high castle tower, which can be accessed. From the top, you can see the Lenzen Elbe Valley nature conservation project. During the GDR era, it was a veterans' home of the SED (Socialist Unity Party), and today it is the home of the European Center for Floodplain Ecology and Floodplain Culture.

The castle Lenzen is today a building with hotel business. The area of the castle is public and freely accessible. Only the exhibition of the castle is chargeable.
