Burg Frankenstein

Location, ruins and views great, but on weekends and public holidays in the summer often hopelessly crowded. The small kiosk on the left after the entrance archway beats the restaurant :-)

What else is there to say about Frankenstein? drive there !!

The rise to the Frankenstein is definitely worth it. There is a kiosk and a panoramic terrace with entertainment. The castle ruins can be visited, the view from the wall or the tower is simply breathtaking.

From here there are many good runs or stretch to extend the tour

Nice view of the Rhine valley from there.

Beautiful castle ruins at 400 m above sea level and is located north on the mountain road. Parts of the castle are still well preserved. A visit is worthwhile. Restaurant with terrace and great
Views of Darmstadt and Frankfurt as well as a small kiosk are here as well as a toilet.

The keep - at this time were the knight games.

Not only worth a visit on Halloween.

When driving down, it recommends 26 inches Fully, because with big wheels some trails are really brutal ;-) But still goes and fun

The visit is always worthwhile with the Mtb, on kl. Kiosk a Campuccino, continue on the trails

Was a bit hazy - but Frankenstein Castle is always worth a visit :-)

You sit very nicely on the terrace with a good view of the valley. This is how the wheat tastes best.
