Up here on the Hirnberg, flocks of countless starlings and rooks compete with each other. The crows are known to us as winter guests and often signal a cold snap. The starlings, on the other hand, have only been avoiding the migration south for a few years. When they attacked my bird feeders, I had to google them to identify them. Yes, climate change is not only experienced in the media and in the speeches of politicians. When you go outside, you will find confirmation of it.
