A wonderful tour of 8 km route. At the end of the valley there are taxis waiting to take you back to the parking lot. Of course, it is nicer to go back the same way. The views are reminiscent of the Alps. Really worth seeing.

The large boardwalk is included in the entrance fee and, depending on your condition, takes up to 2.5 hours. At the end you can take a taxi back to the starting point. Costs about 15€

516 Arouca is a pedestrian bridge in Arouca, northern Portugal, constructed as a suspension bridge. With a length of 516 m, it replaces the 494 m long Charles Kuonen suspension bridge (Valais, Switzerland) as the pedestrian bridge with the longest span in the world. It crosses the gorge of the Paiva River at a height of 175 m. Depending on the source, it is also considered the second longest pedestrian bridge in the world after the Baglung Parbat rope bridge in Nepal. Admission is affordable & worth it - please book your timeslot ONLINE in advance 👍🏽

The entrance ticket for the bridge must be pre-booked with a timeslot on the Internet. The path is equipped with a super panoramic view. The way back up the more than 600 stairs is sweaty
