The Celtic burial mounds are probably over 2000 years old. You can still see them clearly. Of course, over the centuries they have become relatively flat.
It's just a shame that today's society doesn't place more value on historical monuments. When they're gone, it's over!

Since the Stockholz in the southeast is one of the highest points in the area, it is obvious that a Celtic settlement existed in the vicinity.
Celts did not build their settlements in the valleys, but always at high points in the area.
To avoid problems with each other, the settlements were at least 4 hours away on foot.
The graves of the Celts were always built a few hundred meters away from the settlements.
The closest Celtic square ramparts were Wermutshausen, Kreuzfeld and Blaufelden.
