The Schippershof is one of the oldest buildings in Menen.
It dates back to the 17th century and was once, among other things, an inn for bargemen.
Until the early twentieth century, the Leie River flowed through the city center and past the Schippershof. The city museum has been located here since 1999.
You can visit exhibitions at the museum free of charge.
