Leek Field With View of Theresia Church (Opus 9)

The Theresiakerk (now Opus 9) is located on the Theresiaplein in the Biesland district, on the edge of the city of Maastricht. It functions as one of the two home bases of the philharmonie zuidnederland, one of the largest philharmonic orchestras in the Netherlands. However, a major renovation had to take place to realize this. A repurposing for a cultural purpose, without relieving the sacred function of the building. The holy masses continue to take place in the church. This had to be taken into account in terms of design and installation technology. This led to a unique situation for all parties involved. bureau FRANKEN helped with this with a wide range of expertise.
