The Megalithic Circle is a natural monument in front of the National Library in Pole Mokotowskie. It consists of thirteen erratic boulders from Scandinavia, mainly granites and gneisses. Set up in 1999 on the initiative of Dr. Przemysław Wielowiejski and the journal "Archeologia Żywa", it was granted the status of a natural monument a year later. It does not have astronomical or cult functions. It is a valuable object in terms of the species diversity of lichens, including the rare in Warsaw isidial lichens and brunkies.
