As a cyclist you are always asked in Halle: "Have you been to Johannashall before?"

Seems like an awesome, mysterious place to be. If you have not been there yet, people always tell you something about a mountain ...

All right, we approach the thing from below (for example) on the road that leads from Salzmünde to Kloschwitz. Right the Saale, left is a hill. Then a road turns left and you can see it like a wall in front of you. At the beginning the sign "18%" - is actually still - and it's only a short distance.

So you can do it ...

I do not want to hide any further very nice ways:

- a small dirt road behind the edge of the forest leads from Zaschwitz / corner Pastorweg directly to Johannashall (on the way beautiful plum trees)

- some paths that lead down to the Kalihalde to Trebitz and Kloschwitz

- and of course the way through the Kühlbachtal - an absolutely wonderful way (both for hiking and MTB)

and all these ways are mobile up and down
