    If you do the volcano tour you will pass the turnoff to Birigoyo. The hiking trail is marked GR 131 and is white/red. After about 40 minutes from the El Pilar refuge you will be on the west side at the foot of Birigoyo on an ascending forest track. A path marked by cairns branches off to the left. Follow this path upwards, and when you reach the top the path circles another volcanic crater and ends at the summit of Birigoyo. From there you have a fantastic view!!! :-)
