The Dom Sila Viewpoint on Koh Phangan offers impressive panoramic views of the island and the surrounding sea. The ascent begins at the Phaeng Noi Waterfall in Than Sadet National Park. The approximately 250-meter-long trail is steep and leads through dense jungle, with roots and rocks making the walk challenging. After about 15 to 20 minutes, you reach the viewpoint, from where you can enjoy expansive views of the island and all the way to Koh Samui.

For hikers who prefer a longer route, there is the Dom Sila Nature Trail, a circular trail of approximately 1.8 kilometers that can be completed in 2 to 3 hours. This trail leads past additional waterfalls and through diverse flora and fauna.

We recommend wearing sturdy shoes and bringing plenty of water, as the trail can be challenging. An early morning or late afternoon visit is ideal to avoid the midday heat and take advantage of the best light for photos.
