The stretch is a Kahlfjäll stage, characterized by very soft ground and often marshy sections. You happen again "forests" and enjoy a great landscape. The Piteälven River is one of Sweden's most untouched wilderness rivers, one of the last in Europe. Leaning against the glaciers of the Scandinavian mountains, it flows through a unique landscape. In the arctic tundra and the jungle-like taiga its way leads through lonely, deserted regions.
