The Palazzo Broletto, the medieval seat of the rulers of the city, now houses the offices of the provincial administration, the Prefecture of Brescia and some offices of the municipality of Brescia. It is located between Via Mazzini and Piazza Paolo VI in Brescia.
The name derives from the fact that the land on which the palace stands today was originally a garden called "Brolo", hence the name "Broletto".
