The Tapijnkazerne is a former military barracks in the Dutch city of Maastricht. The approximately 6.3-hectare site on the edge of Maastricht's city center was used as such from 1919 to 2010. From 2013, the site was gradually taken into use as a university campus by Maastricht University.

The Tapijnkazerne is a former military barracks in Maastricht which was used as such from 1919 to 2010. At the moment, the Tapijnkazerne has been transformed into a public park with the aim of preserving, experiencing and giving meaning to the historical heritage as much as possible. The University of Maastricht (UM), the Municipality of Maastricht and the Province of Limburg have jointly attempted to breathe new life into the barracks. The aim is to make the Tapijnkazerne a place where students, companies and residents of the city meet.
