Brian is a small hamlet divided between the municipalities of Caorle and Eraclea, in the province of Venice. The boundaries of the hamlet are the Revedoli canal, the Largon, the Livenza Morta and the Brian canal which, until the end of 1940, was an important hub for inland navigation.
This locality is the oldest in Eraclea. The findings of 1957 in the Romiati estate brought to light the foundations of the Portus Liquentiae which demonstrates its existence in Roman times. Brian was a place of maritime exchange.
