Road cycling
Nice view over the rooftops of Merzhausen and Freiburg and nice alternative to the traffic-contaminated Hexentalstraße, if you want to drive from Freiburg to Merzhausen or vice versa. There are also a few vertical meters and the serpentines of the Mercystraße, which take you from Freiburg up here, give the Lorettoberg a very small pass-atmosphere.
