The 26-meter-high Aalbäumle lookout tower stands on the Langert mountain and is a popular hiking destination. It was built in 1898. It got its current shape when it was extended in 1992. From the tower you can see the Aalen and Welland as far as the Rosenstein and Ellwangen in good weather.
Children like to play in the adventure playground at the foot of the tower, where there is also a hut with a beer garden. When the hut is open, a flag is hoisted on the tower. In good weather, every Sunday and public holiday is open from the beginning of April to the beginning of November. From 9 a.m. there will be coffee and breakfast, followed by hearty snacks and cold beer. The hut closes at around 7 p.m.

The Aalbäumle is an absolute recommendation. 125 steps up. In good weather you have a great view in all directions. It is worth taking binoculars with you when visibility is good. On nice days you are not lonely at the tower.
