Jongema State or Jongemastate was a stins (country house) from the 15th century, located north of the Frisian village of Rauwerd, near the beginning of the Slachtedijk. Of the stins, only the gatehouse (1603) has been preserved. The site is now home to Park Jongemastate, managed by It Fryske Gea (source: Wikipedia)
