Moholoholo is a home for injured, poisoned, and abandoned wildlife. The sanctuary is situated in the shadow of the majestic "Mariepskop" (Marieps Head). It is a unique rehabilitation center and home to many animals and birds. For example, two white lions from an Egyptian circus are being cared for here. Queen the crowned eagle, Chui the leopard, Jolly & Juba the cheetah ambassadors, and many other animals live here in a protected environment. Visits to the animals are only possible with a guide. The lions, leopards, servals, lynx, honey badgers, eagles, vultures, and wild dogs are eagerly awaiting your visit.

A visit to the center promotes awareness and understanding of the plight of our wildlife today. There are two guided tours per day, Monday through Saturday (closed on Sundays). The guided tour lasts approximately 2 to 2.30 hours.

Animals you can expect to see: lions, hyenas, cheetahs, lynx, wild dogs, vultures and a hippo. If you are lucky, the rangers will try to lure a cheetah to run past at full speed, very impressive. A visit to Moholoholo is highly recommended, even with children.
