The Bourke’s Luck Potholes (English, in German: Bourkes Glück Strudelöcher) are a rock unit on the Panorama Route in the province of Mpumalanga in the east of South Africa, near Graskop on the R532.At the confluence of the Treur River and the Blyde River, erosion of the flowing water in the red sandstone has created a canyon that merges into the Blyde River Canyon. By further washing out, in particular by the movement of stones in whirlpools, deep whirlpool holes and kettles have been cut into the rock. The sight was named after the gold prospector Tom Bourke, who found a small amount of gold at this location (the associated gold vein was, however, outside of his claim).

Those who visit the impressive potholes cannot avoid great souvenir pictures.
Shortly after the parking lot, on the right-hand side of the path, there is the typical red picture frame that can be found in many places in South Africa. Here you can take great pictures / selfis as memories. Have fun :-)
