The walk is signposted up to the mine, via the path that runs close to the stream. The return route is via the large path that runs over the heights along the Chefna. At Quarreux, it is possible to reach the Fonds de Quarreux by following walk n°21 (red diamond). You can go even further by following the entire walk n°21. The route follows the Amblève, climbs to the famous mountain stream Ninglinspo and then reaches the ridges and the hamlet of Ville-aux-Bois, where the descent of the Chefna begins.
