At the end of the Prinzeninsel is a 100 m wide, gently sloping sandy beach, including DLRG guard. The bathing area can only be reached on foot, by bike or by excursion boat. Parking is at the Ascheberger Chaussee (about 2 km to the bathing area). At the bathing area are a kiosk, toilets, playground, in summer also a volleyball net.

Here you can enjoy a great sunset, whether it's a team swing or a beach chair

If you have packed your bathing suit, you can cool off quickly here.

The Prinzenbad offers a view of a wonderful sunset while taking a refreshing swim after a long drive. There are also three free beach chairs and a picnic bench ☺️

Very nice bathing area, especially with children, very manageable and monitored by DLRG
