The large Catholic Church of St. George in Hochstadt (district of Oberhochstadt) is located directly on the main street. It "was built in 1749 after a predecessor building from 1251. [...] The church tower dates from 1864. In 1969, the nave was extended by a modern building and the church interior was oriented to the north. [Meanwhile], the interior was enhanced by the acquisition of three colored windows with biblical motifs."
