Hiking
A must-do when in Kyoto. This beautiful Shinto shrine is located high up on the mountain (233 meters). On the way there, you pass hundreds of red toori, mostly donated by companies or wealthy families. Since they are exposed to the elements 24/7, they must be replaced or renovated regularly.
